Pen and ink, watercolor, pencil, gouache – whatever the media, the Illustrator is an artist with a story to tell. What is the difference between a painting and an illustration? This exhibition will explore the work of several artist-illustrators, their processes, differences, and similarities between “art” and “illustration”.
This exhibit will be featured in our Fisher Room Gallery from February 20th through March 28th.
This annual favorite will feature hundreds of works by talented students in grades K-12 from regional schools. A wide variety of media will be on display, including photography, digital art, ceramics, painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media. The work will be juried by area artist and educator, Glenn Wolff. Awards for first place through honorable mention will be awarded in several categories.
A reception, sponsored by A & W of Frankfort, will be held on Friday, February 13th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
Paleo Joe presents these fine Paleozoic creatures in a way that tells a story of the prehistoric life in the ancient seas. He provides a unique snapshot of life in the ancient seas from 250 to 500 million years ago. Finally he explores the life and death of these creatures once so plentiful during the Cambrian period that it was called the Age of Trilobites.

It's Deadwood, 1876, and Boss Butler wants control of the town. When he makes his move to seize it from Widow Dawson the town pushes back and there’s a murder! Was it Sawbones the Snake Oil Salesman, the wild woman of a tracker Catastrophe Jones, the outlaw gunslinger Black Bart, or was it Hawkeye Hayes Dawson herself?
Enjoy an evening of mystery and mayhem at Hotel Indigo while supporting Old Town Playhouse.
Audience members are encouraged to dress in their best Wild West attire, with prizes awarded for the best dressed!
Tickets include reserved seating for the show, appetizers, buffet dinner, dessert, 1 beverage, and valet parking.

Need a day to play and let go of those February blues? Join local artists Jessica Kovan and Lauren Everett Finn in this fun, collaborative, fast-paced day of art play and camaraderie, inspired by the INteriors exhibition (January 9–March 12, 2026), which explores inner spaces, both real and imagined.
Beyond the comedic routine of these two friends, you'll enjoy hands-on mixed media experiences, cookie eating (chocolate promised!), and a day of artful fun—all designed to beat those February blues. Using the exhibition’s theme as inspiration, we'll explore the “interiors” of our own minds and create playful, expressive artworks that reflect our inner landscapes.
If you joined us before, we have new projects up our paint-covered sleeves this year, so don’t hesitate to sign up! All supplies included.
