Volunteer
Interested in helping out at the station? There are a few ways you can help Interlochen Public Radio!
Volunteering during fund drives. You can help Interlochen Public Radio by answering phones and processing donations during one of our on air fund drives. It's a fun way to support the station and meet fellow IPR listeners. Most shifts are 3 hours and snacks are provided. If you're already a registered volunteer, you can sign up for fund drive shifts through your personal volunteer page.
Community events. When IPR is out in the community, you can engage members and share all of the important resources IPR brings to northern Michigan and beyond.
Join the IPR donor stewardship team. Help us give thanks to your fellow listeners who generously donate to the station. Every week you’ll have the opportunity to personally thank donors for their support, whether by a handwritten note or a phone call. It’s more important than ever that donors understand how much their gift matters to IPR, and you can play a valuable role in that circle of appreciation. You’ll also be the first to know about upcoming volunteer opportunities! This is a great option if you’re not able to make it to community events or fund drives.
Additionally, Interlochen Center for the Arts is always looking for help on our beautiful campus in the woods, including ushering at concerts and serving meals in the cafeteria.
If you've never volunteered with us but are looking to get started, you can contact Jennifer Richards, Interlochen’s Director of Customer Service & Volunteers, at jennifer.richards@interlochen.org.
Thanks for your support!
