You can turn give your vehicle or motorized vehicle a new life with Interlochen Public Radio.

Do you have a car, boat or any other vehicle sitting unused in your garage? You can support Interlochen Public Radio by donating your vehicle to the station you love.

We are proud to collaborate with the C.A.R.S. Donation Program (Charitable Adult Rides & Services), which allows you to donate your car, truck, motorcycle, boat, snowmobile or RV. Your contribution not only supports your favorite news and music programming, but also provides you with a tax deduction.

It's as easy as filling out a form... our partners manage all the logistics to ensure a hassle-free experience. They handle the towing at no cost to you, issue a tax receipt for your generous contribution and direct the proceeds straight to Interlochen Public Radio.

What types of vehicles do you accept?
All vehicles are considered! We strive to accept all types of donated vehicles (running or not) including cars, trucks, trailers, boats, RVs, motorcycles, campers, snowmobiles, off-road vehicles, planes, heavy equipment, farm machinery, and most other motorized vehicles.

Do I have to pay for towing?
No. Vehicle Donors do not pay for towing; it's free! The vehicles are picked up at no charge to you. All expenses are deducted from the gross sales price, and if the costs ever exceed the price, those costs are covered by CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services, our vehicle donation program provider).

Are vehicle donations tax-deductible?
Yes, vehicle donations are tax-deductible. Individual tax situations vary. In most cases, donors will receive an initial donation receipt from the tow driver at the time of the vehicle pick-up.
