Suttons Bay Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Artisan & Wine Walk, A Toast to Suttons Bay on Friday, June 16^th. Patrons will enjoy extended hours from 5pm to 8pm at participating shops that will also feature a local artisan along with their work. Art will be available for purchase, and some artists will be demonstrating their craft in person!

Many merchants have also teamed up with a local Vintner or Cidermaker and will be pouring complimentary tastings. Northern Latitudes Distillery will feature samplings of their craft cocktails.

Participants may pick up a walking guide at established locations downtown to be stamped by each participating merchant. Completed guides may be entered to win $150 in gift cards. Two lucky winners will be drawn!

There are 20 shops and businesses included in this event located throughout downtown Suttons Bay spanning as far north as Martha’s, and as far south as Schaub Team Premier Realty and west to The Center/LIFT – where there will be a “Rescued Art” sale. The “Rescued Art” sale is a fundraiser to support LIFT, a teen-based center that provides out-of-school-time activities and events to support our local youth.

Event sponsors include Bonek Agency who will provide a Hydration Station and Rotary Club of Suttons Bay who will provide volunteers to assist with distribution of the walking guides.

Summer's Palette is the Magic Thursday Artists 10th Annual Show and Sale, hosted by the City Opera House. the show runs all of July and August and features original paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel, gouache and acrylic. Artists will also have available framed giclee prints. A portion of the sales benefits the City Opera House. Featured artists are Sue Bowerman, Lori Feldpausch, Linda Goodpaster, Ruth Kitchen, Dorothy Mudget, Joyce Petrakovitz, Marilyn Rebant and Laura Swire. The public is invited to the opening reception and meet the artists for Summer's Palette on Monday July 10, 2023 from 5 pm to 7 pm at the City Opera House, 106 East Front Street, Traverse City. The exhibit is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and during evening events.
