This exhibition features works by contemporary African American artists who currently reside or are from rural Michigan and will open the month-long celebration of Black History Month at the RRCA called: "Journey of Discovery: Honoring the contributions of African Americans in rural Michigan."
The Journey of Discovery Art Exhibition is on display in the Hardy Hall Art Gallery from January 25 through February 25, 2023. There will be an opening reception on February 4, 2023, from 5:00-7:00pm.

This annual event is the quintessential Independence Day celebration. The parade steps off at 2 p.m. on Ludington Avenue and features floats, animals, music and more. Fireworks at dusk will be visible from any Ludington beach.

Usher in the holiday season with the Aglow on the Avenue parade, held at 6 p.m. on Ludington Avenue from Gaylord Avenue to Harrison Street, then join the caroling and tree lighting at Legacy Plaza.

This is a free, family-friendly event for all ages. There will be an outdoor beer garden with drinks for sale on site. The event will feature musical entertainment, dancing, midnight ball drop, and a fireworks display. Learn more at downtownludington.org/nye
