Join Us for Family Fun Days!
Family Fun Days are free, community-focused events hosted by YMCA Hayo-Went-Ha Camps in partnership with the Great Start Collaborative Traverse Bay. These days are a wonderful way for families to play together, explore the outdoors, and connect with local resources.
What to Expect:Music & Storytelling: Don't miss special performances by Miriam Pico and Jen Strauss starting at 10:30 AM!
Giveaways & Prizes: Thanks to our sponsors, we are hosting raffle drawings every 15 minutes, including a chance to win a free week of Sparks Day Camp for kids ages 5–10.
Activities & Food: Enjoy arts and crafts, campfire s'mores, and a free lunch served from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM.
How to Give Back:While the event is free, we encourage families to bring a non-perishable food item to donate as they arrive to help support our local community.

Come roller skate with us! Bring your own skates or rent from us and get ready to have fun!Two sessions: 12-2pm, 3-5pm

Join Norte at Mud, Sweat, and Beers for the fun and exciting Root Beer Race! The race is a short, fun-filled course of approximately a 1/4 mile.

Take part in a vibrant participatory artistic experience every second Sunday of the month! From flower arranging and printmaking to painting and weaving, each session offers a unique and creative activity. Second Sunday Art Projects are included with museum admission. Please pay admission when you arrive.

The Northport Arts Association is proud to present the 2026 Northport Photo Exhibit, launching Memorial Day weekend with an Opening Reception on Saturday, May 23 from 5–7pm at the Village Arts Building (301 N. Mill St., Northport, MI). This popular annual exhibit, now in its ninth year, continues to grow in both artistic reach and visual diversity.
The Opening Reception is free and open to the public, featuring complimentary appetizers and a cash bar. The exhibit will run from May 24 through June 13, with gallery hours Tuesday through Sunday, 12–4 PM.

Slow Rolls are our free community bike rides designed to provide a fun, social experience on two wheels. Show up, slow down, and explore your community at an entirely new pace.
These family bike rides are typically just a few miles along a safe, flat route. All ages are welcome. We will begin at Oryana and end at The Little Fleet.
