Here's what you'll be doing:
- Program and host regular daily and/or weekday classical music on-air shift
- Manage Classical IPR’s music library, including cataloguing and digitizing new and existing commercial recordings as well as nearly a century of historic concert recordings from Interlochen’s archives
- Produce special programs such as live broadcasts from Interlochen’s campus and holiday specials
- Conduct interviews with students, faculty and visiting guest artists both in person and remotely
- Represent Classical IPR at public events in northern Michigan at venues from public libraries to classical music happy hours (5-10 events per year)
Here's the compensation:
- Starting at $50,000 annually (exempt position)

Here's who should apply:
- Someone who knows a lot about classical music and is excited to share that knowledge with others
- Someone with radio, podcasting, teaching or other public speaking experience
- Someone who thinks classical music should be inclusive, not exclusive
- Someone with experience organizing music and/or information
- Someone who knows how to use Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools or Audition
- Someone who's great at writing and doesn't need a lot of copy editing
- Someone who's eager to learn a lot in a short time
