After 30 years as professor of music and director of choirs and orchestras at Hillsdale College, Jim Holleman retired this past May. He has now taken on the position of Director of the Benzie Area Symphony Orchestra. He will be the sixth conductor in the orchestra's forty-five year history.
Jim Holleman spoke about how retirement is a second life for his musical endeavors, and gives us a peek at his first two concerts on the podium - one of which is planned as “Music Fun for Children of All Ages.”
