A space for people to share and listen to stories from our lives based on a theme of the evening. Join Kingsley Branch Library & The Kingsley Folk School for a storytelling community circle. Inspired by NPR's The Moth storytelling hour, the Everyone Has a Story series welcomes you to share your personal stories with others to create connections in our community.
Presenters will be given 5 minutes to share stories from their lived experiences with an open-minded circle of fellow storytellers.
Every second Thursday of the month.
This event is FREE and open to the public of all ages.

Kick off the holiday season by creating a fresh wreath for your front door at our annual Wreath Workshop! This DIY experience allows you to create a beautiful wreath you'll be proud to hang in your home. Wreath form, a mix of fresh, locally-sourced evergreens, ribbon, instruction and tools will be provided. Attendees will take home their handmade wreaths at the end of the class.

The Bay’s beloved annual Holiday Magic concert returns on Saturday, December 13 at 7pm (doors at 6pm). From printmaking to painting and weaving, each session offers a unique and creative activity. Second Sundays are supported by the Linda O'Meara Fund for Arts Education. Second Sunday Art Projects are included with museum admission. Please pay admission when you arrive.
This experimental comedy show has a laid-back vibe. Stand-ups test new material, improvisers play with fresh forms, and the unexpected takes center stage. You might catch a sketch, a short play, or even a mini game show.

Something To Smile About: Mixed Media Paintings By Carol C Spaulding
Leelanau County artist Carol C Spaulding brings Something To Smile About, a small group of new mixed media paintings, to the Glen Arbor Arts Center’s Lobby Gallery. The exhibition runs September 2 - December 17.
Working intuitively, Spaulding combines cut-paper collage with exuberant painting. She creates lively compositions in a bright, uplifting palette, full of expressive lines, inserting an array of delightful marks and icons. “I like to begin with an open mind and a playful attitude,” Spaulding said.
