Better Together Activity Club Summer Days welcomes disabled adults 18 and up, along with their family, advocates, and caregivers to join in some summer fun activities.
Bring your lunch and beverages, and join us this week Tuesday and Thursday for our "Creator's Workshop! You are welcome to wear your pajamas!
Come to the museum and join an informal tour of our current exhibitions with one of our docents.
Tours are free with museum admission and will begin at 12:00 PM. Please meet by the front desk a few minutes before the tour begins.
Tickets are not required for this event, and registration is not necessary. Please pay admission when you arrive.

Free public Christian Science lecture by Bobby Lewis of Buena Vista, Colorado. Bobby is a former Marine chaplain, head of summer camp and head of outdoors school. Today he is Christian Science practitioner and lecturer. Topic: "Effective prayer: finding healing and wholeness in divine Love." BYO picnic before lecture.
Bobby will be interviewed live on The Vic McCarty Show WTCM radio AM580 at 1130am Wednesday July 9. Child care will be provided.

Join Dr. Chris Michelmore for a look at the US- Iran relationship in the context of Iran’s historical place in the Middle East. How does Iran fit into the wider Middle East and how does that shape its objectives in the region? How have US policies addressed Iranian intentions and actions and have they been successful?
CHRISTINA MICHELMORE received her BA from Smith College and a Ph.D. in history from the University of Pennsylvania. She lived and worked in the Middle East for seven years—in Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, and Pakistan. In 1984, she joined Chatham University’s history department, which she chaired off and on for 30 years. She wrote academic articles on American views of Muslims and Arabs and contributed Op Eds on U.S. foreign policy. After 9/11, she focused on public education about Middle Eastern people, cultures, and politics. She directed the “Communities of Islam” program in 2002 and was named Pennsylvania International Educator of the Year in 2004–2005. She retired in 2014.

This session is designed to provide insights and practical strategies for dealing with bowel dysfunction as well as managing and alleviating pelvic pain.
