A soul stirring community event - Celebrating the New Year with Illuminous Intention. Soul Stirring Serenity with Sacred Soundscapes
You're invited to an enchanting evening at the beautiful Botanic Garden Historic Barns Park. We will celebrate community and the New Year setting Illuminous Intentions through a tranquil yoga inspired practice cultivating a sense of Soul Stirring Serenity enhanced by Sacred Soundscapes guided by Crystal Woodward-Turner. We'll engage in a healing practice of mindfulness, gentle movement and music created to invigorate the mind and body as we soulfully propel into a New Year of intention, authenticity, clarity and purpose grounded in community, hope, self-love, faith and cultivated inner peace. ALL levels are welcome.

It’s a hot and sultry day in the gritty city, and Sam Shovel has a dead man sprawled in her office, stabbed in the back with a yardstick. Ends up this is just the first of a string of murders happening in the fashion industry. Though no one would ever think of Sam having anything to do with high fashion, it’s up to the private eye to follow the connecting thread and sew up the case.
This Staged Reading will parody a 1940s detective noir radio show, complete with live sound effects, and is sure to leave you in stitches!

Gopherwood Concerts is opening the New Year with the “Made in Cadillac Gopherwood Fundraiser”, bringing you hometown favorite Rachael Davis joining forces with some members of new Cadillac Community Big Band including Frank Youngman, Mike Ritzer, Josh Frasier, Nate Piwowarski, Nik Van Wagner, Dustin Sprague, Charlie Rockwell, Matt Schnieder.
Doors open at 6 pm
Tickets $25/adv., $30/door for Adults, $12/adv and $15/door for students 13-18. 12 and under free with an adult

St. Andrews Presbyterian Church’s Arts on the Hill Ministry Team announces the first concert of the New Year, Sunday, January 11th at 3:00 p.m. at the church,8190 Lincoln Road, Beulah, MI 49617. Dr. Michael Coonrod, Pianist and retired Interlochen piano instructor of 46 years, presents a solo piano recital featuring Schubert, Brahms, Liszt and Chopin.
The Arts on the Hill programs are presented in memory of and honoring Rev. Bob McQuilkin. A free will offering will be taken.
