The Music House Museum welcomes Interlochen Arts Camp harpsichordist Alexandra Dunbar in concert Saturday July 12, at 7:00PM
The Music House is very proud to welcome Interlochen Arts Camp instructor Alexandra Dunbar performing special program of music by Handel, Haydn, Scarlatti and others on the harpsichord and clavichord, Saturday July 12 at 7:00PM. This a rare opportunity to hear these baroque instruments in the unique setting of the Music House Museum.
Dr. Alexandra earned her Doctor of Musical Arts and Master of Music degrees in Harpsichord Performance from The Juilliard School. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Manhattan School of Music. As a high school student, she studied piano and violin at the Interlochen Arts Academy and Interlochen Arts Camp.

As part of the Glen Arbor Arts Center’s Walking exhibition (April 1 – May 29, 2025), this facilitated discussion will invite you to explore Solnit’s fascinating perspectives that connect the act of walking to a wide range of social, cultural, and physical touch points.
Join GAAC’s Gallery Manager Sarah Bearup-Neal for four lively conversations that delve into the history and meaning of walking. Wanderlust focuses on the walkers whose everyday and extreme acts have shaped our culture, from philosophers to poets to mountaineers. Come to the museum and take part in a vibrant participatory artistic experience every second Sunday of the month! From printmaking to painting and weaving, each session offers a unique and creative activity.
Second Sundays are supported by the Linda O'Meara Fund for Arts Education.

The Benzie Area Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Tom Riccobono will be performing Mozart's Clarinet Concerto with guest artist, Jeanmarie Riccobono, followed by Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 2.

The popular Bayside Concert Series returns this summer to the Petoskey waterfront! This free, family-friendly series of outdoor concerts will take place Sunday evenings from 5–7 PM, July 6 through August 31, on the Promenade near the waterfront clock tower.
The series, co-sponsored by Big Water Creative Arts and the City of Petoskey, features an exciting lineup of local musicians performing a variety of styles — all with a stunning view of Little Traverse Bay.

In this popular class, you will learn the basics of extruding and slab-rolling clay to construct tiny clay houses. Various decorating techniques will be used to finish the houses.
