The Wexaukee Amateur Radio Club of Cadillac invites anyone interested in amateur radio, computers, or electronics to attend the 64 th annual Amateur Radio Swap and Shop at the Mackinaw Trail Middle School Saturday, May 4, from 8:00 am until noon. Individuals and vendors from all over Michigan will be selling new and used radio, computer, and electronic equipment. Testing for amateur radio licenses also will be available. Scouts BSA is having its annual mulch sales. All proceeds benefit Traverse City area Scout Troops.

The Old Mission Women's Club is hosting a Barn Sale on Friday, May 17th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, May 18th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Historic Fowler Barn. The barn was featured in the book Barns of Old Mission Peninsula and Their Stories, and is located at 6782 Center Road, just south of the Pelizzari Natural Area on Old Mission Peninsula. Items for sale will include small furniture pieces, toys, tools, lamps, linens, kitchenware, jewelry, accessories, pictures and home decor, sporting equipment and much, much more. A wide variety of items that will surely be of interest to those of all ages! Ample parking will be available.
Profits from the sale provide financial grants to nonprofit 501(c) (3) organizations that operate in the Grand Traverse area. All major credit cards will be accepted.

Sell or buy any fun and funky or plain and practical used bikes at the 13th annual Recycle-A-Bicycle Bike Swap. This much anticipated event is the perfect time to become the new owner of a summer cruiser or upgrade a child’s bike.
The R-A-B Bike Swap is for anyone who wants to sell and/or purchase an unused or out-grown bicycle or bike accessory. Accessories include bike trailers, hitches, bike racks and sometimes frames and wheels. R-A-B requires that all bicycles be in ride-able condition. The tires must hold air and the brakes and shifters must be in working condition. Small items like shoes, helmets or clothing WILL NOT BE accepted.
If you are selling a bike, drop off is between 6 and 8 pm on Friday, May 17 at the Old Town Parking Deck. Sellers receive 75% of the proceeds and the Recycle-A-Bicycle program receives 25%.
The funds raised during the Bike Swap allow the Recycle-a-Bicycle program to continue to provide necessary active transportation to economically disadvantaged individuals and families.
