Gopherwood Concerts is opening the New Year with the “Made in Cadillac Gopherwood Fundraiser”, bringing you hometown favorite Rachael Davis joining forces with some members of new Cadillac Community Big Band including Frank Youngman, Mike Ritzer, Josh Frasier, Nate Piwowarski, Nik Van Wagner, Dustin Sprague, Charlie Rockwell, Matt Schnieder.
Doors open at 6 pm
Tickets $25/adv., $30/door for Adults, $12/adv and $15/door for students 13-18. 12 and under free with an adult

St. Andrews Presbyterian Church’s Arts on the Hill Ministry Team announces the first concert of the New Year, Sunday, January 11th at 3:00 p.m. at the church,8190 Lincoln Road, Beulah, MI 49617. Dr. Michael Coonrod, Pianist and retired Interlochen piano instructor of 46 years, presents a solo piano recital featuring Schubert, Brahms, Liszt and Chopin.
The Arts on the Hill programs are presented in memory of and honoring Rev. Bob McQuilkin. A free will offering will be taken.

Kentucky singer/songwriter Joan Shelley has a warm and mellifluous voice which she applies to songs that evoke both American and British folk traditions. With melodies that are often quiet but full of drama, her observant music often bears a dark and bittersweet quality as on releases like 2015’s Over and Even, the album that marked the beginning of a long collaboration with guitarist Nathan Salsburg (the two are now married). i.am.james will open the show.

The Friars, the a capella subset of the University of Michigan Men's Glee Club, will perform at the City Opera House on Saturday, January 17 at 8pm.

The Music House Museum is happy to welcome back Trillium Groove in concert on January 24, 2026, at 7:00PM
“Trillium Groove is an all-girl trio from Northern Michigan made up of Ruby Bardenhagen (piano), Keagan Kalbfleisch (percussion), and SkyeLea Martin (guitar, ukulele). The three met studying Audio Engineering through NMC’s Audio Technology program. Not only do they all sing lead, but they each are songwriters in their own right. Known for their clever selection of covers, and diverse original repertoire Trillium Groove delivers crowd pleasing performances in three-part harmony. The band recently released their first single and music video called “Mindfuzz” and also have merch available for purchase in their EPK at www.sandboxalliance.com”

When it comes to movers and shakers in the bluegrass world, Full Cord is a super-group on the rise. The Chalfonte Theatre, in partnership with the Chalfonte Foundation, is proud to present an unforgettable evening with one of Scotland’s most acclaimed traditional bands, The Tannahill Weavers, performing live on The Platform on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
