The Suttons Bay Farmers Market is held every Saturday morning from 9 AM – 1 PM.

For the 2025 season, we will be at our established location on St. Joseph St. at the north end of the village. Located on the east side of the intersection of M22 and M204 (between Concord St. and Race St.)

Experience the excitement of traditional Japanese Raku pottery as practiced in the West today. Glaze, decorate, and fire already-made pots in this one-day workshop. We may even write a haiku.

Registration due two days prior to session date.

In this workshop, Jamie John will provide many examples as to what zines can do, what they have been able to do historically, and demonstrate some of the many possible ways that you can make your own zine.

The Music House Museum welcomes Interlochen Arts Camp harpsichordist Alexandra Dunbar in concert Saturday July 12, at 7:00PM

The Music House is very proud to welcome Interlochen Arts Camp instructor Alexandra Dunbar performing special program of music by Handel, Haydn, Scarlatti and others on the harpsichord and clavichord, Saturday July 12 at 7:00PM. This a rare opportunity to hear these baroque instruments in the unique setting of the Music House Museum.

Dr. Alexandra earned her Doctor of Musical Arts and Master of Music degrees in Harpsichord Performance from The Juilliard School. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Manhattan School of Music. As a high school student, she studied piano and violin at the Interlochen Arts Academy and Interlochen Arts Camp.

As part of the Glen Arbor Arts Center’s Walking exhibition (April 1 – May 29, 2025), this facilitated discussion will invite you to explore Solnit’s fascinating perspectives that connect the act of walking to a wide range of social, cultural, and physical touch points.

Join GAAC’s Gallery Manager Sarah Bearup-Neal for four lively conversations that delve into the history and meaning of walking. Wanderlust focuses on the walkers whose everyday and extreme acts have shaped our culture, from philosophers to poets to mountaineers. The author of more than 20 books, Solnit is a regular contributor to The Guardian and one of today’s most thought-provoking voices.

Come to the museum and take part in a vibrant participatory artistic experience every second Sunday of the month! From printmaking to painting and weaving, each session offers a unique and creative activity.

Second Sundays are supported by the Linda O'Meara Fund for Arts Education.

Second Sunday Art Projects are included with museum admission. Please pay admission when you arrive.

Skegemog Raptor Center and Green Elk Rapids invite the public to an inspiring and educational afternoon exploring the story of bald eagles in northern Michigan-where biology meets tradition and conservation meets community.
