After years of designing, developing, weeding and planting, The Botanic Garden and The Friendly Garden Club are excited to publicly unveil The Children’s Sensory Garden. Everyone is invited to celebrate the grand opening at Historic Barns Park on Sunday, August 10, 1-4 pm. Activities for all ages–wagon rides, storytelling, Native American dancers, scavenger hunt, and much more will be part of the party.

The Children’s Sensory Garden is meant to be enjoyed by people of all abilities and ages. Features include flowers, trees, water, and historic structures to stimulate all of the senses. It is meant to be a safe, enriching environment for all of our community. Admission is free.
