What makes you feel fancy? Wearing a well-tailored suit or a glamorous tutu? Eating tiny sandwiches with your pinky up? Or just dancing to your favorite music with your favorite people? Whatever it is, we want you to bring that fancy attitude and your dancing shoes to the Great Lakes Children's Museum on Saturday, February 24 for our Fancy Dance Family Fun-Raiser!
A twist on the Father-Daughter Dance that we held a few years ago, the Fancy Dance is an event made for all members of the family who want to enjoy a night of music, games and crafts together. A professional photographer will be there to take pictures of families dressed in their finest. Kids will be able to dress up their photo with a frame that they decorate themselves.
And because we haven't had a dance party at the Children's Museum since before COVID, we'll be letting our guests crash our playlist. For a donation of one penny and up, we'll let you take over the mix with your own (family-friendly) jam or slow dance. To fuel all of that footwork, we'll be serving kid-friendly charcuterie and drinks in the Great Lakes Room throughout the evening.

This event is open to both the general public and GLCM members. For the general public, tickets are $20 per registration plus $5 per person. Members receive $10 off registration. As with every GLCM FUN-raiser, all proceeds benefit the Great Lakes Children's Museum.
