The Backroom Gang are a famous Dixieland jazz band in Traverse City. They play classic, upbeat jazz music. They are a Dixieland jazz band. This is an early style of jazz featuring trumpets, clarinets, and tubas.History: They formed in 1970 at a local pizza parlor.
