Once again on September 21st, Veterans for Peace Chapter 50 will be celebrating the United Nations International Day of Peace in Traverse City. Everyone is welcome to join in on any or all of the events.

At 8am we will gather at Clinch Park Beach near the concession stand to share songs and thoughts of peace.

At 9am, we will be at the Peace Pole outside the Governmental Center (corner of Boardman and Washington) to hear the Mayor read a proclamation for International Day of Peace in Traverse City.

And finally. At 10am, we will plant a Peace Pole in Medalie Park on the east side of the bridge over the Boardman-Ottaway River.
