The nonpartisan League of Women Voters of Leelanau County is holding a public forum for the candidates in the November midterms on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 7-9 PM, in the lower-level community room of the Leelanau County Government Center. Participants include the Leelanau County Drain Commissioner candidates: Kristy Burns, Melinda Lautner, and Tim Lodge, and the candidates for a partial term on the Leland Township Board of Trustees: Stacey Brugeman, Brian Fenlon, and Judith Galla.
