Author Katey Schultz Leads Writing Workshop in Antrim County
Author Katey Schultz will be holding a fiction writing workshop at the Grass River Natural Area Education Center (6500 Alden Hwy) in Bellaire on Thursday, May 28, from 1-3:30 pm. Katey Schultz is the author of the short story collection, "Flashes of War"and the novel "Still Come Home," both published by Loyola University Maryland. Honors for her work include the Linda Flowers Literary Award, the Doris Betts Fiction Prize, IndieFab Book of the Year, five Pushcart nominations, and writing fellowships in eight states.

forward to hearing her work,” said Pam Williams, Elk Rapids Library Director.
These events are sponsored by the Antrim Writers Series, a program of Crosshatch: Center for Art and Ecology. Other collaborators include Grass River Natural Area, the Elk Rapids Public Library, and the Bellaire Public Library. The Antrim Writers Series brings four authors to Bellaire and Elk Rapids each season, to read their work and lead writing workshops for the community.
