This Sunday, June 8, Northern Michigan audiences are in for a special musical treat. Composer and multi-instrumentalist Tony Manfredonia takes the stage as a featured soloist with the Northern Symphonic Winds, performing live at the Boyne City Performing Arts Center.
Manfredonia brings a fresh, contemporary voice to the world of classical music. He has arranged music for "Minecraft" and Universal Studios in addition to collaborating with jazz legend Bob James and writing original music for the concert stage.
In anticipation of the concert, Tony sat down with IPR's Scott Clemens to talk about his upcoming performance, his creative process and what audiences can expect this weekend.
