On Monday, July 27, the nationally syndicated classical music program Performance Today will feature music performed and recorded in northern Michigan.
During the first hour of the program, hear the Detroit Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Jader Bignamini with viola soloist Eric Nowlin. They will play Rhiannon Giddens and Michael Abels' overture to "Omar."
