"Madama Butterfly" tells the heart-wrenching story of Cio-Cio-San, a young Japanese woman who falls in love with an American naval officer, Pinkerton, and marries him in hopes of a bright future. When he abandons her and returns to America, she faces devastating consequences as she waits in vain for his return. The production is conducted by Daniele Rustioni.
