Trumpeter Lydia Hanje is a senior at Interlochen Arts Academy.
This week, she'll be featured on the nationally syndicated show From the Top.
Lydia performed Bruce Broughton's piece "Oliver's Birthday" in IPR's Studio A.
She also spoke with From the Top's host Peter Dugan about her musical family (including her sister Elizabeth, an Interlochen Arts Academy alum who has previously appeared in IPR's Studio A).
Lydia was joined by pianist Ya-Ju Chuang for this remote session of From the Top.
She is also the recipient of From the Top’s Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award.
