It's the mid-way point for the Republican National Convention.

And now you can peel away that word "presumptive" when talking about Donald Trump. Because after last night, he is now officially the GOP Presidential nominee.

Judi Schwalbach is the former mayor of Escanaba. She's a delegate representing the 1st Congressional District at the convention.

Schwalbach voted for Gov. John Kasichduring the primary. However, Trump won her district.

Schwalback told us it wasn't difficult to turn her support to Trump, and that she believes he has evolved as a candidate.

“I believe we need a change of direction and I believe he’s going to take us there,” Schwalbach said.

Schwalbach joined us onStatesideto talk about Kasich, rhetoric surrounding Hillary Clinton and why you should vote for Trump.
