Greetings from Interlochen.
While the pandemic has changed life around the globe, Interlochen Public Radio continues to be here for you and your neighbors each day. Our news staff is chasing this unfolding pandemic from Gaylord to tribal communities and across northern Michigan as a global story becomes intensely local for us all. At the same time, Classical IPR continues to offer a sanctuary of beautiful music mixed with community information useful in this crisis.
While we know that you and others are listening and visiting IPR online more, we also know people who have supported this station over the years will be making tough economic choices in the months ahead. We do have a fund drive scheduled for later this month and will invite you to help carry this public service through a challenging time. (There is no need to wait, if you are inspired to support IPR now, please do so here.)
We could use your help now, though, in another way. As this crisis changes our lives at deep levels, we would love to hear from you about the role IPR is playing in your daily life. What does this service do for you in this unprecedented time? How does it help? Where would you be without it? How could we do better?
