This week on the Up North Lowdown, we’ll meet the host of a new podcast from Classical IPR called Intermezzo ... plus OUR host Ed Ronco goes on stage in Traverse City and dies. But on purpose.

A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder is the name of that play. We’ll also hear about a new murder mystery set in a fictional landscape that is unabashedly northern Michigan. Then we’ll meet a man who volunteers to play music to hospice patients.

Stories featured in this episode:

Max Copeland is the local weekday host of All Things Considered on Interlochen Public Radio and the producer of The Up North Lowdown, IPR’s weekly news podcast.
