Classical IPR welcomes award-winning Sound Garden Project artists Cerus Quartet to Studio A.

The Cerus Quartet is an award-winning saxophone quartet consisting of Roberto Campa, soprano saxophone, Laura Ramsay, alto saxophone, Kyle Kato, tenor saxophone, and Samuel Dishon, baritone saxophone.

During a recent performance for a live audience in IPR's Studio A, they talked with Classical host Christy L'Esperance about the story behind their name and their adventures approaching unsuspecting audiences in public. Through music and imagination they bring connection and music to the community, transforming the everyday into something beautiful.

The Cerus Quartet will be in Northern Michigan through June 19th for The Sound Garden Project, a collaboration between Glen Arbor Arts Center and Interlochen Public Radio.

Their culminating concert will be on the 19th at Glen Arbor Township Hall at 7pm.
