Juliet Hinely

Juliet Hinely is a Peabody and Audie Award-winning podcast producer and sound designer based in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Juliet comes to audio from the world of visual art and loves the deeply evocative power of sound to expand a story -- she is a firm believer that it is the closest thing to time travel. Juliet has produced interactive neighborhood audio tours in San Francisco, immersive sound and story installations in Ypsilanti and Detroit, and a variety of podcasts for independent outlets, Audible, and NPR, including Believed from Michigan Radio. She is a co-founder and co-curator of the community listening event series Radio Campfire, and holds an MFA with a focus in sound and story from the University of Michigan.
