Interlochen Arts Academy students will take the stage alongside members of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra with cellist Tommy Mesa, recipient of Lincoln Center’s 2025 Avery Fisher Career Grant and the Sphinx Organization’s 2023 Medal of Excellence.
All of these orchestra pieces are woven together with multidisciplinary elements. The program is bringing together all of Interlochen's arts areas to celebrate the past, present and future of the United States.
Cristian Măcelaru, Music Director Designate of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, will conduct the performance. Diana Wyenn is the Imagine US tour's creative director.
