Join the fun for our fall opening reception! Doors will open at 6:45 PM. Enjoy an evening with desserts and a cash bar. Each guest will receive one drink ticket upon arrival. Members receive free admission and double discounts in the Museum Store the night of the event. Guests of members and the public are welcome to attend at the cost of admission.

The riotous live musical comedy is based on the hit 1992 film! When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won't be found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid traditions of the church and uptight Mother Superior. Using her sense of humor, disco dance moves, and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but, in doing so, blows her cover. The chase is on as Deloris begins to understand the power of her newly found sisterhood.

The Elk Rapids Farmers Market is brought to you by the Elk Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce. This Friday morning market offers a wide selection of locally grown fruits and vegetables, fresh flowers and plants, baked goods, cheese, meats and fish, jams, maple syrup, local honey, coffee and tea, lavender products and so much more! In 2025, the Market is open every Friday from 8:00am to Noon from May 30th through October 3rd.

Learn new techniques or refresh your skills in surface decoration using sgraffito, slip trailing, and overglaze brushwork. The instructor will provide tiles and extruded pieces. Students are welcome to bring their leather-hard pieces to decorate.

Glen Arbor Players will present a new play; "The Half-Life of Marie Curie" at the Leelanau School on Sept. 12th, 13th, 19th and 20th at 7:30pm as well as on Sept. 14th at 2:00 pm.

The play was written by Lauren Gunderson and is directed by Bob Boles and features Jean Jenkins and Janet Stipicevich. The story has been described as "brimming with wit, wisdom and passion."

Minimum donation of $10 suggested and refreshments will be served.

Whether you're running or walking, this 5K course offers glowing fun, community spirit, and a chance to make a difference!

Cash Prizes for Top Overall (female/male), 2nd, 3rd, 4th Runners Up, Finishers Drawings, and Spirit Drawings! Come prepared with extra clothes and time to cheer on other runners as they cross the finish line.
