Performances by the Clam Lake Band happening every Monday starting June 29 at 7:00pm running through August 3. The band has been holding their concerts at the Pavilion for now over 50 years. Each week is a new theme.

Join us for Outdoor Story Time! Outside the library, overlooking the beach. Please bring a blanket for your family to sit on.These story times are geared toward pre-k to second graders and their caregivers, but fun for all who attend!
Rain site is the library’s lower level Community Room.
Come to the museum and join an informal tour of our current exhibitions with one of our docents.
Tours are free with museum admission and will begin at 12:00 PM. Please meet by the front desk a few minutes before the tour begins.

Images and poetry are the essence of the Glen Arbor Arts Center’s current Lobby Gallery exhibit. Poetic Visions Of Port Oneida: Painting And Poems That Reimagine is a series of oil paintings and corresponding poems created by Grand Traverse County artist Wendy McWhorter. This exhibition is in the GAAC’s Lobby Gallery through August 27, 2026.

Come make a Michigan memory out at Thoreson Farm and create a functional ceramics mug! In this parent/adult and child workshop, students will be guided step by step on how to create one or two Michigan-themed slab mugs. Students will also be shown different surface techniques to make their mug as unique as Northern Michigan. What a great souvenir!! No experience is necessary, and all supplies are provided.
All children must be accompanied by a paying adult. After kiln firing, your mugs will be available for pick up at a later date. Adult and Child must register separately
NOTE: Finished pieces are normally ready for pick up within 2–4 weeks.
