Join us for the final disucssion in a five-part conversation series hosted by Derenda Lefevre of Open Your Eyes To Access (OYETA). These conversations will focus on centering disability stories, the history of disability in our communities, and provide opportunities for non-disabled people to learn about disability, ableism, and what it means to embrace accessibility and equity in our community spaces. Refreshments will be served and documentation for continuing ed hours is available upon request.
#5 Building Ally Culture & Community: In the final conversation of this series we’ll explore what allyship looks like, identify concrete actions we can take, explore opportunities for continued education, celebrate and uplift the disabled community, and take the Disability Solidarity Pledge.

Smart Commute Week is an annual celebration held during the first full week of June. The purpose of Smart Commute Week is to promote alternative forms of transportation and to educate area residents of the benefits of a smart commute. Smart commuting includes many benefits for your health, for the environment, for the community and for your pocketbook.

Slow Rolls are our free community bike rides designed to provide a fun, social experience on two wheels. Show up, slow down, and explore your community at an entirely new pace.
These family bike rides are typically just a few miles along a safe, flat route. All ages are welcome. We will begin at Oryana and end at The Little Fleet.

Explore the vibrant world of acrylic painting using palette knives in this beginner-friendly class. Students will discover the unique qualities of different acrylic brands, experiment with color mixing, and learn to create a variety of shades. Eleonora will provide lots of demonstrations on different landscape painting techniques.
Bring a photo of your favorite summer scene, and by the end of the class, you’ll have a completed landscape painting to take home!
The Love Ludington Street Party will celebrate our town from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, June 5.
This event will be full of energy with live music, kids’ games, bounce houses, food, drinks, a car show and more, held on Downtown Ludington streets that will be closed to traffic. (portions of Ludington Avenue and James Street)
