The 54th annual Glen Lake Woman’s Club Art Fair will be held on July 15th, at the Glen Arbor Township Hall. The Art Fair features artists carefully selected to represent a wide variety of one-of-a-kind art pieces for sale including pottery, painting, textiles, woodworking, and jewelry.
Each year, thousands of people shop for that unique piece of art, either for themselves or for a special gift. The Art Fair is a family-friendly event with a large selection of treasures available across a wide range of price points. Food is available for purchase.
All proceeds from the Art Fair support scholarships for Glen Lake Community School students. The Glen Lake Woman’s Club, a 501(c)(3) organization, was established in 1937 with the goal of fostering social, civic, and educational projects.

The 2nd annual Long Lake Farmers Market will kick off on June 4th and run every Thursday through October 1st from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Stop by the market located at Haywood Park, due east of the Long Lake Township Hall at 8870 N Long Lake Rd, Traverse City, Michigan 49685, near the bocce ball courts.
We are excited to create a community-based farmers market that celebrates the historic agricultural traditions of Long Lake Township, while providing opportunities for Long Lake residents and the surrounding community members to buy and sell locally grown and produced products.
Explore four private Traverse City gardens open for this day only from 1:00–7:00 pm. Then, finish (or start—pick your own path!) the walk at The Children’s Sensory Garden at The Botanic Garden at Historic Barns Park. Stroll and enjoy an afternoon at your own pace.
