Author and professor Christopher Schaberg will share what he has learned from two decades of fly-fishing and how these lessons can be applied to our modern, fast-paced, hyper-connected lives.
Accessible for those new to the activity, but of use for experienced fly-fishers as well, Schaberg will demystify the sport and offer creative ways to think about this decidedly slower way of inhabiting waterscapes and interacting with non-human species.
Come on out for Live Music at the Vineyard, where the vines set the stage and the good times come naturally.
At French Valley, we’re pouring wine, beer, and cider in a space that’s made for everyone—families, friends, and anyone looking to kick back and stay awhile."

Enjoy a captivating performance in the Art Park's unique forest amphitheater with The Blue Water Ramblers.
The Blue Water Ramblers represent the best of the Americana/Folk Music Tradition. They perform in the time-honored stylings of a string band - writing and singing traditional music with modern themes. The Ramblers' repertoire comes right out of their Michigan life experiences of the last fifty years. Their hero, Woody Guthrie, would approve because they're singing the peoples' songs, about the peoples' lives - and they can join right in. To quote the Grand Rapids Press: "The Ramblers deep love for good music and the people who attend their shows is evident throughout their performance!"
Arrive early to allow for the 1/4-mile hike to amphitheater.
Advanced Ticket Purchasers - your reservation will be confirmed at the Will-Call table when you arrive.
Concert starts promptly at 7:00 PM
Seating is rustic, bring a chair, cushion, or blanket if you’d like!
If inclement weather, we will hold the event indoors at Crystal Mountain.

American Tree is an exhibit that explores the role trees played in the formation of the United States 250 years ago — and the role trees will play moving forward into this nation’s next 250 years. This exhibition features the work of 28 artists. Set in Glen Arbor — named Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation in February 2026 — the exhibit celebrates trees in a wide variety of media, styles, and materials. It interprets the pivotal role trees played in the history of this nation.
At the same time, American Tree is an exhibition that asks what our relationship with the forests and woodlands looks like today? Is it purely transactional and commercial? Is there respite and renewal to be found in the woods? And what is our blueprint for the forest ecosystem in the next two centuries? What does a United State of Trees look like? Why should we care?
