The Great Lakes Equestrian Festival closes with one of the final major weekends of summer at Flintfields Horse Park. The $116,000 CSI3* Grand Prix brings international riders to Traverse City for an afternoon of competition, hospitality, shopping, and summer atmosphere in Northern Michigan.
General admission proceeds this week support Groundwork Center for Resilient Communities through the Traverse City Horse Shows Charity Ticket Program.

Join us for Outdoor Story Time! Outside the library, overlooking the beach. Please bring a blanket for your family to sit on.These story times are geared toward pre-k to second graders and their caregivers, but fun for all who attend!

Join the Glen Lake Association's watershed biologists on a fun and educational hands-on tour of Glen Lake on our Discovery Boat (ages 8+). As you cruise along the water, you’ll learn how area lakes were formed, what influences water quality, how to keep the watershed healthy, and so much more.
Two-hour tours run twice per day at 10 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. on June 26, July 10, July 18, July 24, July 31, August 14.
We are proud to offer the Discovery Boat program now completely free of charge! (Registration is still required.)

Join us for a walk along the universally accessible boardwalk at the Arcadia Marsh Nature Preserve! Volunteer leader Paula Dreeszen will highlight the colorful array of marsh wildflowers during peak blooming and butterfly viewing season.
The BasicsArcadia Marsh is one of the most beautiful and diverse nature preserves under GTRLC’s care. The universally accessible boardwalk allows users of all abilities to enjoy this iconic property and experience the unique flora and fauna that call this place home. This is a relatively easy 0.75 mile trail on flat terrain. Wildflowers you can expect to see along the boardwalk include Joe-Pye Weed, Boneset, Blue Vervain, and Spotted Jewelweed.

Trail run 5K at the Leelanau State Park trails off Densmore Road by the Woosley Airport in Northport, Michigan. Expect a challenging and fun trail loop with professional timing and 5-year age groups. This event is chip timed. TCTC and MiTri members receive an automatic discount at checkout.
All participants will receive a shirt and a custom trail finisher’s medal.
Packet pick up the morning of the event, starting at 8 am till 8:45 am.
