Join Golden Retriever Rescue of Michigan (GRRoM) for A Golden Afternoon — a fun-filled fundraiser at Traverse City’s dog-friendly social club!

Welcoming all dogs regardless of shape, size, and breed. Expect food trucks and libations for humans as well as foam parties, wading pools, and plenty of room for your pup to play! A silent auction and other GRRoM fundraising activities will also be offered.

Any dogs attending the event must be up-to-date on all vaccinations and be at least six months old. See the website below for more information on registering your dog in advance.. Pre-registration is recommended.

The Comedy Mixtape is Full Tilt Comedy's monthly comedy variety show. In addition to our speciality (improv) enjoy sketch, stand up, storytelling, parody songs, and more!

In memory of Joe and Jane Muer, this giant community collage with over 200 canvases, created by local artists, is on display beginning June 6th. Each piece is priced at $40.00 with all proceeds benefiting programming at the Oliver Art Center.

Created by artist Mary E. Burns, the exhibit features 29 handwoven jacquard portraits celebrating scientists, activists, educators, artists, and Indigenous water protectors from more than 20 countries. Through intricate textile art, the exhibition explores the universal importance of water and the women whose work helps sustain and protect this essential resource.

The exhibition will be on display on the Petoskey District Library's second floor from August 27 through October 15, 2026.

Throughout its run, the library will offer docent-led tours, related programs, book displays, and community conversations that explore themes of water, environmental stewardship, Indigenous knowledge, and women's leadership.

The 2^nd annual Long Lake Farmers Market will kick off on June 4^th and run every Thursday through October 1^st from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Stop by the market located at Haywood Park, due east of the Long Lake Township Hall at 8870 N Long Lake Rd, Traverse City, Michigan 49685, near the bocce ball courts.

We are excited to create a community-based farmers market that celebrates the historic agricultural traditions of Long Lake Township, while providing opportunities for Long Lake residents and the surrounding community members to buy and sell locally grown and produced products.
