Students will learn foundational techniques like washes, layering, and wet-on-wet, exploring the vibrant hues of the region’s diverse palette. They’ll develop keen observation skills, capturing the essence of Lake Michigan’s blues, the lush greens of forests, and the intricate details that define the area’s beauty. The culmination of this journey will be a series of watercolor paintings, bound into a unique, natural book.
Rain or Shine! Make sure to bring a camp chair, water, and snack!

This class is for anyone creative that enjoys television and film, and wants to learn more about the acting process.
You will learn the basic fundamentals of acting, acting exercises, monologues and scene study as well as many other acting related topics.
No prior acting experience is needed!
The class atmosphere will be light hearted and fun! Let’s roll!
Phillip will also answer your questions about working in the entertainment industry and how things work in Hollywood.

Hands-on exploration of the pottery wheel – just for kids 10-13 years. No experience needed. In this class, students will get an introduction to using the pottery wheel, surface design, and glazing. Students will create several functional pieces in this four-week session. All pieces will be glazed, food-safe, and ready to enjoy.
Class price includes clay, glazes, and firings. After kiln firing, your completed pieces will be available for pick-up at a later date.
Join Miss Ann for Preschool Story Hour, Wednesdays at 10 am, Interlochen Public Library. Children ages 2-5 years will enjoy stories, songs and a craft. For more info call the library at 231-276-6767.

They’ll explore different colors and materials, using their creativity to craft something special.
Students will build fine motor skills and experiment with design choices, all while learning how to work through the weaving process. By the end of the class, each student will walk away with their own handmade woven tapestry. It’s a great opportunity for kids to explore their creativity, challenge themselves with new skills, and create something truly one-of-a-kind!

This class takes skills further with a focus on creating lidded vessels, sets, and teapots. Explore advanced glaze techniques and unique surface treatments to craft creative, personalized pieces.
