The Chalfonte Theatre, in partnership with the Chalfonte Foundation, is proud to present an unforgettable evening with one of Scotland’s most acclaimed traditional bands, The Tannahill Weavers, performing live on The Platform on Sunday, March 8, 2026. Doors open at 4:00 PM, with the concert beginning at 5:00 PM.
The performance will feature two 50-minute sets separated by a 15-minute intermission. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and—thanks to the Chalfonte Foundation’s commitment to arts access—youth ages 25 and under receive 50% off, an initiative designed to encourage young people to experience world-class cultural events and broaden their artistic horizons.
This special Chalfonte Theatre performance offers Northern Michigan audiences a rare opportunity to experience the power, heritage, and exuberance of one of the world’s most influential Celtic bands—live in an intimate setting. From soulful ballads to foot-stomping reels and jigs, the night promises a dynamic celebration of Scottish culture and musicianship.
