July 24, 7pm – Robert Abate Trio- power blues, jazz and funk
Come to the library for an evening of conversation about the future of the Empire Hardware property, located at the intersection of Front and Lake Streets. Dylan Tull of Biom Design will be on hand to share his team’s vision for the property, and gather vital community input. Their proposed mixed-use development is intended to revitalize the historic and long-vacant property, providing a variety of services and attractions.
Glen Arbor Players present "Kitchen Witches" written by Caroline Smith and directed by Harriett Mittleberger. A hilarious play featuring two rival cable tv cooks, with deep-seated resentments, when they are hired to cohost a new cable cooking show. What could possibly go wrong?!
Performances are at 7:30 pm on July 24 and 25th as well as 2pm on Sunday the 27th. Refreshments will be served.

The Elk Rapids Farmers Market is brought to you by the Elk Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce. This Friday morning market offers a wide selection of locally grown fruits and vegetables, fresh flowers and plants, baked goods, cheese, meats and fish, jams, maple syrup, local honey, coffee and tea, lavender products and so much more! In 2025, the Market is open every Friday from 8:00am to Noon from May 30th through October 3rd.
FRIDAY, JULY 25th & SATURDAY, JULY 26th, 10am-4pm. Many quilts and artisan items on display and for sale in the Boutique.
All items were crafted by talented guild members.

Torch Area Artisans Guild will hold a Quilt and Artisan/Boutique Show at Helena Township Community Center 8751 Helena Rd, Alden MI., on July 25th and July 26th 10:00AM to 4PM both days.
Although the Guild is known for quilting, many of the members are also talented artists. Their artistry will be on display and many items for sale. There will be needlework, paintings, pottery, and more on exhibit.

Charlotte Ross Lee Concerts in the Park Series
Pack a picnic and head to Pennsylvania Park in Downtown Petoskey for Crooked Tree Arts Center’s annual Charlotte Ross Lee Concerts in the Park Series!
Held 12:00 - 1:00 PM each Wednesday and Friday, June 18 through August 15, the concert series brings local musicians to the Gazebo stage.
Bring a lunch, lawn chair, or picnic blanket and enjoy live music in the park! These performances are free and open to the public.

Higher Art Gallery is pleased to welcome 23 Artists from across Michigan to participate in our 2nd Annual Great Bodies Exhibit.
This show is a visual love letter to the abundance of fresh bodies of water found throughout Michigan.
A variety of mediums include paintings, colored pencil, fiber art, encaustic and drawings.
The exhibit opens for in person viewing on July 18th and runs through August 16th.
An Opening reception is to be held on July 25th from 5-7 pm.
