Watercolor with Ink

Join artist Julie Tibus and learn to paint a wild and gorgeous birds nest. This class will include and introduction to watercolor paints. Our painting begins with India Ink and a spray bottle. Next we drip beautiful colors and watch the magic happen with a wet in wet technique. Details are then added to finish the painting. Great for beginners to experienced!

Students need to bring:

Watercolor brushes: #12 round & #2 liner.

Watercolor paints: Daniell Smith Watercolors in
Phthalo blue GS – Pigment number: PB15:3
Lemon yellow – Pigment number: PY175
Quinacridone rose – Pigment number: PV19

Additional colors I love: Payne's Grey, Quinacodrone Gold, Quinacadrone Red, Quinacadrone Rose, Lemon Yellow, Cerulean Blue, Green gold, Burnt Sienna.
