Thursday September 21st is the United Nations International Day of Peace. Veterans for Peace Chapter 50 will once again be celebrating this important occasion and invite the public to join us in this celebration.

We will be gathering at 8AM near the snack concession at Clinch Park Beach for a morning Bayside celebration and to share thoughts and songs of peace.
At 9AM, we will be at the Peace pole outside Traverse City Governmental Center to listen as the Traverse City Mayor proclaims the International Day of Peace in Traverse City.
We hope you can join us for either or both of these events.

Following the Mayor’s proclamation, our members will be assisting with new Peace pole plantings at 5 TCAPS elementary schools. These poles have been donated by Veterans for Peace Chapter 50
