The Growing Season - Reading of a Folk Musical

The Growing Season - Reading of a Folk Musical

Join us for a special staged reading of The Growing Season, a heartfelt folk musical with a book by Steve Clark and Tom Emmott and songs by Steve Clark.

As the story unfolds, you'll meet Meredith, whose family is unraveling. When her teenage daughter, Alex, runs away to the old family farm, their lives become unexpectedly intertwined with Meredith’s estranged brother, Jacob—a quiet recluse.

This intimate, three-person musical explores themes of grief, loss, family, and the healing power of reconnecting with the land.

Please note: This performance contains adult language and themes.

Inclement Weather: This event is being hosted in the fresh air and we encourage you to dress for the elements. In the event of inclement weather, the musical will be performed on an alternate date TBD.

Member Discount: Members of The Botanic Garden at Historic Barns Park receive a discount on all events. Please select the “Garden Member Ticket” option on the ticket page. For in-person events, please plan to show your valid membership card the day of the event. Not a member yet? Join today!
