This Northern Michigan Elite Plein Air painting event is a great summer kick off featuring 32 juried artists from across the country. Plein air painting is when the artist is painting outside in all weather and lighting conditions. This week-long painting extravaganza is paired with our region’s beautiful landscapes, from shorelines to small towns and villages.
