Your Leelanau Libraries are hosting a community read of J.D. Salinger’s The Catcher in the Rye in honor of Banned Books Week, October 4-10, 2026.
Book discussions will be held at each library:
Tuesday, October 6, 4:30 p.m. — Leland Township Library
Thursday, October 8, 2:00 p.m. — Suttons Bay Bingham District Library
Thursday, October 8, 3:00 p.m. — Glen Lake Community Library
Wednesday, October 14, 1:30 p.m. — Leelanau Township Library
All readers are welcome to attend.
