On Monday, September 22nd, Veterans for Peace Chapter 50 will once again be sponsoring our annual celebration of the United Nations sanctioned holiday- International Day of Peace,

The celebration will include the following events:
8AM - sunrise gathering at Clinch Park beach for songs and words of peace;

9AM - gathering at the peace pole in front of the TC governmental center for the Mayor's proclamation declaring 9/21 as an International Day of Peace in Traverse City;

10AM - annual planting of a Peace pole in Hull Park, behind the TC Library on Woodmere Street.
