Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency (NMCAA), in partnership with Northwest Michigan Habitat for Humanity and Northern Homes Development Corporation, is pleased to present the first ever Emmet County Housing Fair on Saturday, June 7, 11:00am to 3:00pm at North Central Michigan College. The event is tailored specifically for persons seeking to live closer to their workplace in Emmet County and will
feature a vast array of resources designed to launch interested parties on their homeownership journey.

The purpose of the event is to provide attendees with the opportunity to sit down with counselors, lenders,
developers, realtors and more to help those interested in purchasing a home in Emmet county navigate a
path to home ownership. No matter what stage a person is at: credit repair, evaluating loan options,
applying for a mortgage – the goal is to have participants walk away with actionable steps to meet their goals. Vendors on site will represent the gamut of all things ‘homeownership’ and there will be three panel
sessions with experts in the field providing guidance on ‘how to get started’ to ‘protecting your investment’.
