ONEKAMA–Founding artists Les Scruggs and Jamey Barnard announce the annual Art Snake July 5 and 6 from 11:00- 4:00 p.m. at various studios around Portage Lake and Arcadia.
Art Snake is an annual studio tour and art sale of artists in Onekama and Arcadia. The tail of the snake begins on the south side of Portage Lake on Miller Road, wraps around Portage Lake, and ends along M22 with the head of the snake in Arcadia. Look for the snake to visit sculpture, paintings, textiles, jewelry, and more at 10 different locations.
2025 artists include sculptor Les Scruggs; print makers Andrew Jagniecki and Jef Bourgeau; painters Jamey Barnard, Michael Grant, Susan Joseph, Phil Joseph, Melanie Parke, Richard Kooyman, Jim Schuessler, and Kristine Harvey; textile artists Susan Barnard, Mary Fairgrieve; and silversmith Corene Kufta. Some artists work in various media, so come to see what their work has yielded this year!
