2025 "Cheese Cup Fly Fishing Tournament" to Benefit Child & Family Services NW MI - June 14th, 2025

The 8th Annual 2025 “Cheese Cup Fly Fishing Tournament” to benefit Child & Family Services NW MI suicide prevention and support mental health services for local youth will be held on June 14th, 2025.

Two person fly fishing teams will complete to catch the largest and smallest bass, bluegill, pike and carp on a fly for prizes donated from local vendors. Entry cost his $100 per team. Prizes will also be awarded for “Best Team Name” and “Best Costumes”. This event is sponsored by The Northern Angler in Traverse City and in the past seven years has raised over $70,000 to aid Child & Family Services NW Michigan’s important work. Bidding on “Silent Auction” items generously donated by local merchants will be available as well.
